No award for Lene at the Spellemann 2005 |
Lene Marlin didn't win the Best Female Artist award she was nominated for in the 2005 Spellemannprisen: Ane Brun won the prize. Lene though was present at the show, even if she didn't get on stage to perform nor to present any award. Lene wore an elegant black dress that stressed her class and femineity.
The main winners are known names also in Italy: Madrugada (Best Rock and Best Song), Robert Post (Best Male Artist and best video for 'Got None') and Röyksopp (Best Pop Group).
The entire event was followed live in the new international chat of the Lene Marlin fans. Our friends from Norway, Staalorm in particular, delivered a real-time commentary, telling about all the moments during the show. In the whole evening more than 30 people from different countries in the world joined the chatroom (Norway, Italy, Belgium, France, Sweden, Spain, New Zealand, UK), setting a first record of 19 people in chat simultaneously. The international chat is always open, we hope that fans will want to join it and get to know each other even when no big event is taking place.
