| Lene's first duet with Lovebugs |
A surprise for all the Lene fans today!
It's about a new song, entitled "Avalon", which though will not be published by Lene: it's a song by the Swiss band Lovebugs (a rockband composed of five guys) and will be out in Switzerland on June 23rd on their new album "In Every Waking Moment". "Avalon", credited as Lovebugs featuring Lene Marlin is the seventh track in this album containing 11 songs.
We feel it's important to stress that this is the first time Lene has sung somebody else's lyrics, and this she has done in duet (again a first time, if we exclude the duets on "Venn"). As reported by the official website lenemarlin.com, Lene went to Switzerland to record this song following an invitation from the band.
Now about the song itself, it's an exciting rock ballad. According to what we get from kataweb, Lovebugs rely a lot on volumes and energy and on an impressive songwriting, wich sounds very interesting, especially about their live performances.
So let us wish good luck to Lovebugs for their new work, and look forward to hearing this new song and to knowing more news about Lene's promotion in Europe.
