Video next week |
Source : Dagbladet |
As early as next week the video for Lene Marlins single «You Weren't There» will be ready for viewing
Right after it will be realesed it will be shown with high frequency on the norwegian TV-channels ZTV, NRK2 «Svisj» and the international music channel MTV.
- The video isn`t finished yet, so we can`t be sure what day it will be realesed, but it will be one day in the next week, says A&R-adviser Gyro Leira
The video is directed by the 30 year old Magnus Martens, which also opens the Haugesund moviefestival with his moviedebut «United». He`s not allowed to say much about the Lene video.
- It will be a straightend nice video. The recording was done in a couple of days. And the song is outstanding.
Different Lene
Everyone who wants to buy the new Lene Marlin-single, on the other hand, has to wait until it will be released for sale the 25. August.
- We haven`t yet decided if it will be more songs from the upcoming album on the single, but this is at least the only sound which will be released for radioplaying before the album will be released, says Leira.
Dagbladet meant in their review of the new single that it`s a different Lene we can hear. "Away is the "young girl-voice", on the single Lene appears as a adult and grown-up artist with a soft and nice voice" wrote Dagbladets reviewer and gave the song throw 4.
Double rotation
Lene Marlins new single was released on monday for norwegian radio stations, and is already heavily represented on the playlists. NRK Petre (Norwegian radio channel) has for the first time in their
history given a song double rotation on their A-list, this means that the
song will be played at least 6 times a day.
- This is a small sensation. It cannot be shown more interest around a popsound than this, therefore it`s naturally that it gets better treatment. In addition the sound is
splendid, says musicproducent in Petre, Mats Borch Bugge
He insists further that this is a one moment case. And that the albumrelease the 22. September has to proceed to the usual playlists.
