Charts news from 21-11-05 to 30-01-06

"What If" out of the charts
In this early 2006 "What If" is falling quite fast in the charts, and exits from norwegian Hit40 Top 100, when "You Weren't There" has surprisingly re-entered: it seems one of the absolutely most loved songs by the listeners and the norwegian radios, together with Dido's "White Flag" and a few others.
In Italy, after the efforts spent to keep "What If" in the TRL Top 10, it seems the time for this song is almost over. Same goes for the votings on german Hitradio Ohr chart.

We have to rectify a piece of information we delivered about the Singapore "Lost In A Moment" release. The album contains 11 tracks (it's the european version), not 12, as reported on the back of the CD+DVD box set.

Still ups and downs for "What If"
Back from the Christmas break, Lene was again out of the TRL Italy chart, but thanks to our tenacity we managed to bring her to #3, and then to #2. The mission goes on, even though the future for the single is still uncertain.
In Norway, "What If" had lost some places in the radio charts, then went up again in these first days of the year, but we don't know the exact situation at this moment. We remind that in Norway the single is not out in stores yet, two months after its first appearance in the charts.
We're waiting for news from the UK, while we haven't been able to find a viewable Singapore album chart, but we'll keep an eye on the radios.

Charts: "What If" closes the year downward
After beginning the week at #1 again, "What If" had suddenly disappeared from the TRL Italy chart. It re-entered two days later at #2, closing then the year at #4.
In Norway, the Radio Tromsų chart has been updated: we left the song in its second week at #14, now it's at #18 in its sixth week. Downward also on Radio Bodų. No updates from the other radios and from Hit40 in this Christmas period.

"What If" up in Norway, top on TRL Italy
After falling to #50 in the official radio airplay norwegian chart, "What If" jumps up to #25 in the last week's Hit40.
About last week, we'd like to stress the double number 1 on TRL Italy, which lets "What If" collect now three number ones in three weeks, plus many number twos and threes, only one day out of the Top 5. All this is possible thanks to the passion and constant enthusiasm of the fans, which will surely go on during the forthcoming Christmas Holidays.
Last, Lene Marlin is now out of the Taiwan charts, but we hope she will enter soon in other important european charts.

Charts: Lene still high on TRL Italy
Great jump on Radio 3 Bodų for "What If", up 13 places and now in the Top 10. About Hit40, we said that Lene entered at #21, actually she had entered in the Top 100 at #77 the week before, then she climbed up to #21, went down to #33, and last week she fell again to #42.
In Italy "What If" stands firmly in the TRL Top 5 for the second week in a row. A someway unexpected result, but naturally we'll try to extend this trend as long as possible, hoping that in the meantime the other promotional leverages for this second single will be activated. All the fans can keep on voting: check our Support Lene page.

Ups and downs for "What If"
After 9 weeks, "Lost In A Moment" exits from the Top 20 album chart in Taiwan, while Radio Kiss says Lene Marlin is up one place, but the song is "What If", not "Still Here".
In Europe, after climbing quickly the norwegian playlists, last week "What If" lost many places, getting back in the Top 30s. In Italy the video has stayed in the MTV TRL Top 3 during all the last week, while today it's at #4.
Let us remind all the fans to keep supporting "What If" with their votes and SMS (check the Support Lene page)!

Lene Marlin on the way to the Top on TRL Italy!!!
Last week "What If" made its debut at #21 on Hit40, the official norwegian radio airplay chart, ten places higher than when "How Would It Be" first entered. We are waiting for some other missing updates, but the song is anyway many places up since the last times (e.g. +13 on Radio Bodų).
In Italy the "What If" video made its debut on TRL at #10 last friday, jumping then quickly to #3 and even higher today, at #2, one only step to the Top.
A special thank you goes to all those who have been voting for Lene in the last days, especially the italian fans, who are sending many SMS to keep the video high on the TRL chart.
In Taiwan the album weekly sales figures and the radio airplaying of "Still Here" keep decreasing.

"What If" up in the norwegian playlists
While the song for Asia "Still Here" and the album "Lost In A Moment" are slightly down in the Taiwan charts, the second single for Europe "What If" is up in all the norwegian radio playlists, especially in Lene's native town (+10).
Thanks to Meriadoc, we found out that between the end of August and the beginning of November "How Would It Be" stayed for 11 weeks in the Top 50 of a belgian radio, Radio Canteclaer, reaching up to place #25.
